Buongiorno amic* lettor*!
Oggi ho fatto un viaggio nei viali dei ricordi, andando a cercare le ultime serie che mi abbiano veramente conquistato e mi duole ammettere che non sono così tante.
Andando a vedere solo nell'ultimo anno e mezzo, ho trovato solo cinque serie che mi sono rimaste ben impresse nella memoria. Non per mancanza di letture, perché anche se sono un po' lenta riesco a leggere il mio bel discreto numero di libri l'anno, ma più vado avanti con l'età meno libri riescono a prendersi un pezzo del mio cuore.
Quindi ecco a voi cinque serie che sono riuscite a conquistare questo cuore gelido negli ultimi anni:
LA CITTA' DI OTTONE di S.A. Chakraborty
Con una scrittura evocativa, la Chakraborty ci inoltra in un mondo studiato nel minimo dettaglio, dove magia e politica si mischiano meravigliosamente.
Inoltre l'ultimo volume della trilogia è uno dei libri che mi ha fatto piangere di più nella storia dei finali. PERFETTO, dall'inizio alla fine.
Trama: EGITTO, XVIII SECOLO. Nahri non ha mai creduto davvero nella magia, anche se millanta poteri straordinari, legge il destino scritto nelle mani, sostiene di essere un’abile guaritrice e di saper condurre l’antico rito della zar. Ma è solo una piccola truffatrice di talento: i suoi sono tutti giochetti per spillare soldi ai nobili ottomani, un modo come un altro per sbarcare il lunario in attesa di tempi migliori.
Quando però la sua strada si incrocia accidentalmente con quella di Dara, un misterioso jinn guerriero, la ragazza deve rivedere le sue convinzioni.
